Primary People: Ashooh's political resume runs deep

He also is co-chairing ONE Vote '08, a bipartisan national effort working to hold discussions during the 2008 election season on extreme poverty and disease.

Ashooh, whose brother, Elias, helped shepherd the downtown Manchester arena project, has backed Republicans for President dating back to Ronald Reagan.

"I'm sure I will pick a horse" for 2008, he said. "I have every time before and been active helping them with their campaign. I'm sure that will happen again."
