Frist and Tom Daschle, another former Senate majority leader, are chairing ONE Vote '08, a bipartisan effort to "mo bilize voters to save lives and secure our future." A major part of that initiative is to put pressure on those who would be the next president to take steps to combat hunger and disease while improving access to education and water across the globe

The ONE organization, co- founded by Irish rocker Bono, counts 2.5 million members with a sprinkling of celebrities from across the political spec trum and all 50 states.
