Rally urges candidates to address global poverty

"You can do it. We can do it as one," Sugira said at a rally today for "Iowa ONE Vote," a nonpartisan, $30 million campaign spearheaded by Bono, lead singer of the rock band U2.

More than 20,000 Iowans have singed on to the campaign. Organizers hope they will carry their concerns to presidential candidates seeking to win Iowa’s first-in-the-nation caucuses in January.

Bono did not attend today's rally, but organizers hope he will visit the state.("...")
