I am glad all the candidates want to help other countries with clean water, HIV, and other problems.
But, What about right here at home…the Lakes and Rivers are a mess! Children don’t have enought food in This country. Public education is lacking and it is dangerous to even be in most public schools! We always want to help the other countries…what about right here at home?
Gov. Romney is the most qualified in bringing the economy back together again. A vote for him is a vote for prosperity, peace and order. He is a great man of virtues that we should emulate. He had shown it through his own family, business and community. I would love to see him as the new President of the United States. It will be a proud moment for all the American people. We need to choose right and he is the right choice!
I don’t really think that his religion should be such an issue. And even if his values do reflect his religion, as far as helping out other countries, Mormons do quite a lot. The Mormon Church has sent relief to victims of over 150 disasters since 1986 alone. Aid is provided regardless of any consideration, including religion, ethnicity, and nationality, and is valued in the tens of millions of dollars annually. In the last 20 years, 200 million pounds of food, clothing, and medicine were donated in 147 countries, almost all to members of other faiths. So I think any negative comments about his religion playing a part in this are completely uncalled for.
Also, I think that making sure that we are caring for our own country is a valid idea. I’m not saying completely ride off aid to other countries. It’s just that it is hypocritical to try and end poverty in other countries when we can’t even help our own people.

Obviously the former Governor lives in a world for and by the Mormons: fantasy land.
